The platform is a forum for cross-regional exchange of practices, initiatives, and developments in statistics in small island developing states. It is designed to transcend ocean boundaries and encourage dialogue among Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and their stakeholders to advance statistical development in countries, regions, and the wider SIDS as a unified group. The SIDS Statistics Exchange Platform is a collaboration between various partners in statistics development in SIDS (PARIS21, Caribbean Community and their member countries, Pacific Community and their member countries, UNDESA SIDS Unit, and the UNOHRLLS). The objective of the platform is to serve as a forum for cross-regional exchange of practices, initiatives, and developments in statistics in small island developing states.
